1. Who we are

This policy covers bentinhomassaro.com, massaro.university, the Massaro University app and our registration pages (together, "our sites"), and the courses, memberships, events and other programs we offer (together, "our offerings").

Our sites and offerings are run by Massaro University, the trade name of Trinfinity LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Massaro University", "we", "us", "our").

For people in the EU/EEA and UK, we are the "controller" of your personal data.

2. What information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name and email address, when you join our newsletter, fill in a contact or question form, create an account, or buy something

  • Billing details, when you pay. Card payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card number

  • What you post, comment or send in Massaro University (posts, messages, event sign-ups)

  • Information in applications for programs, mentorships or retreats

  • Anything else you choose to tell us

For in-person events and retreats

When you register, we ask for information needed to keep you safe and run the event. This includes your phone number, an emergency contact, and health-related details such as medical conditions, allergies, medication, mobility needs and dietary needs. We only ask for this with your explicit consent, use it only for the event, share it only with the people who need it (for example, facilitators or a venue's kitchen), and delete it after the event (see section 7).

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, pages visited, and how you arrived at our sites

  • Cookies and similar technologies (see section 5)

Beliefs and personal experiences

Because our teachings are spiritual, you may choose to share personal beliefs or experiences, for example in posts or applications. Under EU law, religious and spiritual beliefs count as sensitive information. We only use what you choose to share, only to provide the offering you asked for, and by sharing it you consent to that use. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

3. How we use your information and why

For people in the EU/EEA and UK, the legal basis for each use is shown in brackets.

  • Provide your account, courses, memberships and events (performance of a contract)

  • Take payments, send receipts, handle refund requests (performance of a contract; legal obligation)

  • Keep you safe at in-person events, using health and emergency details (your explicit consent)

  • Use spiritual or religious beliefs you choose to share, to provide the offering you asked for (your explicit consent)

  • Answer your messages and questions (legitimate interest in responding to you)

  • Send our newsletter and updates about programs (consent; you can unsubscribe at any time)

  • Measure how our sites are used, and improve them (consent, via our cookie banner)

  • Show our ads to people who visited our sites (consent, via our cookie banner)

  • Keep our sites and community safe, and prevent abuse and fraud (legitimate interest)

  • Meet tax, accounting and legal requirements (legal obligation)

We do not sell your personal information.

If we'd like to use one of your questions, an exchange with you, or a recording that features you for teaching purposes, we always ask your permission before publishing it.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run our offerings, and only as much as they need. These include:

  • Website and community hosting providers

  • Payment processors

  • Email and newsletter services

  • Video, live-call and messaging platforms used for programs

  • Tools we use to organise registrations and our internal work

  • Analytics and advertising partners

  • Spam and fraud protection services

  • Event venues and facilitators, for in-person events

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

5. Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use:

  • Essential cookies — needed for the site to work (for example, keeping you logged in, checkout). These are always on.

  • Analytics cookies — to understand how our sites are used.

  • Advertising cookies — to show our ads to people who visited our sites and to measure whether they work.

On bentinhomassaro.com, analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you agree in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences option. massaro.university runs on Mighty Networks, which shows its own cookie banner; there you can refuse advertising cookies and change your choice at any time. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.

Do Not Track: our sites do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers mainly store data in the US. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, your data is transferred to the US. Where possible, we use providers certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as the law requires, and then delete it.

Health and emergency details for events are deleted within 6 months after the event.

8. Your rights

Everyone can ask us to see, correct or delete their information, and can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in every email.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to: get a copy of your data in a portable format; object to or restrict how we use it; withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect what we did before); and complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have similar rights to know, correct and delete your information, and to opt out of "sharing" for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, email support@bentinhomassaro.com. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

9. Age

Our sites and offerings are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and tell you by email or on our sites if the changes are significant.
